IPVS 2020

Del 03 a 06 de Noviembre de 2020

The IPVS2020 Organizing Committee has been working hard to offer the best possible conditions to the companies participating in this great event.

The world is experiencing a period of great tension in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, which already affects much of Asia, Europe, North America, and now the first confirmed cases in South America.

We follow closely the latest information on the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Brazil and, due to our commitment to the safety and well-being of everyone involved, we announce the suspension of the activities for the next 45 days and the postponement of IPVS2020, which will be held on a new date:

November 3rd to 6th, 2020

We are in close contact with the Brazilian Ministry of Health and Anvisa (National Health Surveillance Agency) to keep updated information on COVID-19 prevention and control protocols. We reaffirm that all measures adopted by IPVS2020 put the safety of all those involved in first place. We are working together to overcome this challenge.

We would like to take the opportunity to highlight useful tips on this issue:

  • Wash the hands regularly and disinfect them with alcohol.
  • Avoid close contact with sick people.
  • Cover mouth and nose with a disposable tissue or forearm when coughing or sneezing.
  • In case of fever, cough or shortness of breath, seek medical attention quickly and report your recent travel history.

We reinforce our commitment to the safety of everyone and pay close attention to the updates on the evolution of the pandemic with seriousness and responsibility.

While we are aware of the importance of this moment, we also have full confidence in the capacity of the Brazilian people to overcome any difficulties that may arise along this trajectory.

You can count on our commitment and transparency in conducting what was previously planned and what we believe in.
