DOOS Annual Meeting

Join The Deep Ocean Observing Strategy (DOOS) and partners (including DOSI) at the DOOS Annual Meeting May 3-5, 2022 “Addressing Global Challenges in the Deep Sea through Collaboration.” This event will bring the deep ocean community together to engage in and help focus initiatives that address global challenges in the deep sea. You are invited to contribute your ideas and priorities to this network of networks as members work together to leverage global expertise, find new areas for collaboration, and chart a course ahead for deep sea science for the next decade. Event Overview:

May 3, 1100-1500 ET – Full Group session including introductions to global challenge initiatives, and a plenary from future leaders of the deep ocean community.
May 4, 1000-1700 ET – Sign up for individual, 2hr working group meetings spanning the day to dig in to actions to address global challenges.
May 5, 1100-1500 ET – Regroup as a community to chart our course ahead, assess gaps, and define how DOOS can best support the global deep sea community.
