- Existe una demanda creciente de recursos de imágenes del subsuelo y monitoreos eficientes, no invasivos y rentables.
- Ningún tema de investigación ha aportado un valor relevante a las necesidades de la mayoría de los geofísicos.
- La informática tiene una gran probabilidad de abordar desafíos geofísicos.
- La geotermia, el monitoreo de reservorios, la captura, utilización y almacenamiento de carbono tienen gran posibilidad de abordar desafíos geofísicos.
- Es esencial considerar la naturaleza en constante evolución de la investigación científica y el avance tecnológico.
