Hello ECOPs!

Our surveys are tools that provide vital feedback, direct from Early Career Ocean Professionals and help guide the strategies and activities carried out by newly formed Regional and National Nodes.

We’d like to share with you again our current surveys (we are very sorry if you have had trouble filling out any recent ECOP surveys). The LAC region survey is closing soon, so please share in your networks and we look forward to sharing the results very soon.

If you’re not from the above regions or countries, we are still looking for your input with regards to a future networking event (at the Ocean Decade Conference in Barcelona, in April 2024).  This short feedback form is open to all ECOPs, so let us know your thoughts.

And, finally…

Have you ever wanted to complete you PADI Open Water course but never had the chance?  Dr. Dayne Buddo, ECOP Caribbean coordinator, Marine Biologist and Dive instructor is offering a special opportunity for ECOPs within the ECOP Programme network to achieve their Open Water certificate.

The dates are 8-11 December and 11-15 December in St. Petersburg, Florida, United States.  Reach out to Dayne to register your interest and find out more – spaces are limited!

Please note: the courses are only taking place in Florida, US during December 2023, so if you cannot make these dates/locations please be mindful of enquiring.  There may be further opportunities in the future, but for now, Dayne will focus on organising and running these.
