Overview

Join us at our joint Annual Meeting with the French Society for Ecology and Evolution (SFE²).

This December we invite you to join over 1,200 ecologists from around the world at Ecology Across Borders 2021, our joint Annual Meeting with the French Society for Ecology and Evolution (SFE²).

After a successful joint Annual Meeting in 2014, the British Ecological Society (BES) and the French Society for Ecology and Evolution (SFE²) have been working hard to make our next joint meeting equally great.

These joint meetings provide an invaluable opportunity to build closer ties between the vibrant academic ecological communities in Europe and wider afield, which has never been as important as it is today.

The two societies look forward to working together on an excellent and welcoming conference for their members and the global ecological community.

The conference, Ecology Across Borders 2021, will take place from 12–15 December 2021 in Liverpool, UK.

We continue to follow the latest government advice regarding the coronavirus outbreak and how this might affect our joint Annual Meeting. As it stands, we are continuing to make plans for an in-person event whilst exploring additional online elements. In any case, we will strive to run the best event possible to serve the ecological community.
