A new report from the British Ecological Society examines the Prime Minister’s pledge to protect 30% of UK land and seas by 2030 to support nature recovery.

Our National Parks, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and other protected areas have the potential to help reverse declines in British plants and wildlife.

The BES report looks at the role protected areas play in supporting nature and determines what is needed to meet the ‘30×30’ target.

Join our launch event for the report’s publication at 10:30 UK time on 22 April 2022 and hear the conclusions from the experts involved.
