Students Futures & Research Conference

Following the huge success of the first ever Student Futures and Research Conference in March 2021, in collaboration with The Linnean Society, we are delighted to be bringing #SFARConf 2022.

The first conference in 2021 took over 360 undergraduates, Masters and PhD students through a range of talks, workshops and skills sessions providing an insight into potential and career opportunities available in the natural sciences and ecology. Topics included how to gain experience and skills in the current climate, how to write CVs, global challenges and how to make a difference. This acted as a brilliant merger of the BES’ Undergraduate Careers Conference and the Linnean Society’s Student Conference for 2021.

In this two-day conference, undergraduate, Masters and PhD students of the natural sciences were invited to engage with this online experience, showcasing the variety of careers available to students like you, interacting and networking with peers and beyond, and having open conversations about pathways into research.
